Dublin: Protest at Housing Activists Arrest

Members of the Industrial Workers of the World attended this evenings solidarity action outside Store Street Garda station following the arrest and detention of two housing activists in Dublin.

The action was organised to highlight the "disgraceful attempts to target and criminalise housing activists" during the outrageous eviction at James Connolly House and the arrests at Liam Mellows House.

A number of groups and individual activists took part in the action to not only to raise awareness of the growing level of homelessness and the increasing level of intimidation and harassment of activists locally.
