The Industrial Workers of the World Ireland is one of the fastest growing branches within the IWW internationally. We meet regularly to organise and coordinate activities locally across the country. To give support, advice and direction to fellow workers in struggle, wherever they work and live, against the bosses.
If you're already a member of a business union then why not consider becoming a dual-card holder by joining the IWW. If you agree with the IWW preamble and feel you can help build the IWW where you work then take the next step and get involved.
The easiest way for you to get involved and become a member of the IWW in your area is by clicking on the following link.
We already have active members in towns and cities across Ireland, both north and south, such as: Dublin, Cork, Derry, Tralee, Belfast, Galway, Newry, Dungiven, Tipperary, Clare, Newcastle, Carlow, Armagh, Sligo, Donegal, Waterford, Kerry, Roscommon, Wexford and Limerick to name but a few.
If there isn't any in your area then join and create one.
Our membership is wide and varied which so far includes workers in the public sector, construction, students, musicians, administration, teachers, cleaners, artists, community, unemployed, bar and hospitality workers: https://iww.org.uk/join
