The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW Ireland Branch) were delighted to be present at the fabulous and packed out trans pride yesterday organised by @transpridedublin.
A spokesperson for the IWW stated following the event that "It was wonderful to see so many people out to support the liberation of our trans and intersex comrades.
"If any group in society faces oppression, then you do not live in a free society. An injury to our trans comrades is an injury to every one of us. There is no liberation without liberation for all. Trans, intersex, Palestinian, working class folks, people of colour, the disabled, all of us must stand together.
"Our oppressors are more often than not the same people and receive funding from the same conservative political groups. As a union, it is our belief that, none are free, unless all are free."
